sakhi, a women’s hindi magazine by dainik jagran, recently ran a cover story in their magazine issue for the month of july titled 'jee le zara' ('live your life' in english) highlighting an important and primary responsibility we have towards ourselves, especially as women. an ordinary woman, young or old, who is constantly dealing with the ever present politics inside apparently happy families, invariably dabbling in sorting out the mundane affairs of everyday life and handling the many responsibilities revolving around the interests and welfare of the entire family; what does happiness - her dreams, her wishes, her needs, her wants, her own self - mean to her? सपने क्या हैं? सपने माने वो एक कल्पना जहाँ हम अपने आप को बैठा देखना चाहते है पर वहा तक पहुंचने का रास्ता साफ़ दिखाई नहीं देता. कभी कभी हम मन ही मन मैं उस सपने को दबा लेते हैं यह सोचकर की शायद यह मुमकिन है ही नहीं. पर सपने कभी दबते नहीं. वह तो आसमान मैं आज़ाद पंछी की तरह होते है जो हमारी ज़िन्दगी को सदैव नयी उंचाइया छुने की प्रेरणा देते हैं. वह सपने ही हैं जो हमारी जीवन रूपी यात्रा को न केवल एक अर्थपुर्ण दिशा देते हैं पर उस दिशा पे दृढ़ता और सच्चाई से चलते रहने की शक्ति भी देते है. 2. आपकी विश लिस्‍ट में कौन सी बातें शामिल ? यूँ तो अलग अलग समय पे विश लिस्ट मे काट शांट होती रहती है पर मेरी एक दिली तमन्ना यह है की में अपनी यात्राओं के द्वारा लाइफ के छुपे हुए ट्रेझस को खोज पाऊ. अपनी यात्राओं मे होने वाली अनुभूतिओं ko poore दिल से जीना चाहती हूँ , अपनी आँखों से बहार की दुनिया को देखना चाहती हु पर साथ ही साथ अपने अंदर जो एक हसीं दुनिया बसी हे, उसे भी discover करना चाहती हु, यही मेरी विश लिस्ट है. मेरी इस विशलिस्ट को पूरा करने का एक माध्यम मेरा ब्लॉग 'माय यात्रा डायरी' है जिसपे मै अपनी यात्राओं का वर्णन और उनसे जुड़े अपने विचार प्रकाशित करती हूँ. 3. आप अपने किसी ऐसे सपने के बारे में बताएं, जिसके सच होने पर आपको सबसे ज्‍यादा खुशी मिली हो ! मुझे बचपन से विदेश यात्रा करने का बहुत शौक था. मुझे याद है जब रात मे कोई टिमटिमाती बत्तीया आकाश मे दिखाई देती, मै उन्हें तब तक निहारती जब तक की वह आँखों से पूरी तरह ओझल न जाए. पापा से सवाल भी करती, पापा यह क्या है तो पता चला यह एयरोप्लेन है जो बहुत दूर 'विदेश' जा रहा है. जैसे ही कोई विमान को देखती, उसे अपनी नन्ही उंगलियों से बाय बाय करती। मुझे एक बार का वाक्या याद है जब मैंने पापा से पुछा था, की पापा हम विदेश कब जाएंगे, तब हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति शायद ऐसी नहीं रही होगी की हम इंटरनेशनल ट्रेवल कर पाते, तो उन्होने बड़े स्नेहपूर्वक मुझे यह जवाब दिया था, एक दिन ज़रूर जायेंगे। कई साल बीत गए, पढाई समाप्त करने के बाद ब्लॉग्गिंग शुरू की और इंडीब्लॉगर मे एक ट्रेवल राइटिंग कांटेस्ट में भाग लिया। कांटेस्ट में पूरी जी जान लगा के मेहनत की पर कभी सोचा नहीं था यह कांटेस्ट में जीत पाऊँगी। भगवन की कृपा, पाठको के सहयोग और दुआओ से कांटेस्ट जीता, पहली विदेश यात्रा करने का अवसर मिला, जापान में रोचक अनुभव प्राप्त हुए, और पापा के साथ देखा एक बेहद अनमोल सपना पूरा हुआ. अभी भी जब में उन् दिनों को याद करती हूँ ya phir इस एपिसोड को narrate करती हूँ, मेरा ह्रदय ख़ुशी से फुला नहीं समाता. एक साल बाद दूसरा ट्रेवल राइटिंग कांटेस्ट भी जीत haasil hui जिसमे मेलबोर्न की सेर करने का अवसर मिला, यह दोनों ही ज़िन्दगी के ऐसे पड़ाव है जो आज किसी सपने से कम नही लगत है. 4. किन कार्यों से आपको सबसे ज्‍यादा खुशी मिलती हे और क्‍यों ? कोई भी कार्य जो मुझे प्रकृति के करीब ले कर जाए, वह मुझे बेहद पसंद है. नयी जगहों को देखना, अनुभव करना, उनके बारे मे लिखना दिल के बहुत ही करीब है. यूँ तो ट्रेवल ब्लॉग्गिंग मेरा काम भी है पर में अपने ब्लॉग को सिर्फ मेरा करियर मात्र नहीं समझती ... मेरे शब्द मेरी पूजा भी है, और मेरी सखी भी. इन् आठ सालो मे ब्लॉग्गिंग के माध्यम से न केवल बाहरी पर अंदर की दुनिया के हसीन रंगो को भी बटोरा है. 5. क्‍या आपको ऐसा लगता है कि भारतीय महिलाएं अपनी खुशियों के बारे में ज्‍यादा नहीं सोच पातीं, उनकी दुनिया केवल पति और बच्‍चों तक ही सीमित रहती है। यह बात काफी हद तक सच है, काफी बार महिलाये अपने लाइफ के रोल्स प्ले करने में इतनी उलझ जाती है की स्वयं पर टाइम और ध्यान नहीं दे पाती. पर समय बदल रहा है, अवेयरनेस बढ़ रही है और धीरे धीरे यह मालूम चल रहा है की हमारी भी एक अपनी पहचान है, शादी से परे, दुनिया के रिश्तो से परे, एक जीव के रूप में, परम परमात्मा पिता के संतान के रूप में . . और हमारी ख़ुशी, हमारे भाव हमारे अंदर है न की किसी पर निर्भर है, हमारी खुश अवस्था ki जिम्मेदारी स्वयं हम पर है. 6. चूकि आप टैवलर और ब्‍लॉगर है तो इसके लिए आपका ज्‍यादातर समय घर से बाहर व्‍यतीत होता होगा। आपके परिवार की जिम्‍मेदारियों ओर यात्राओं के बीच तालमेल क्‍ेसे बिठाती हैं ?
